Read and acknowledge the notification in MyKanta informing you of the use of your data in Kanta Services

The Client Data Act is being reformed, and due to it there will be changes to the consent to data sharing in Kanta services from 1 January 2024. If you update the consent to data sharing you have given previously, the consent to data sharing can be used more widely than before. You will receive a new, updated notification on the use of your data when you use MyKanta after 30 November 2023.

Your client and patient data is stored in Kanta Services when you use social welfare and health care services. If you have given consent to data sharing, it enables your data to be shared, for example between wellbeing services counties or between public and private health care providers. If you update the consent to data sharing, in the future the consent to data sharing will also enable the sharing of data that is not in Kanta. This includes, for example, information about you that is recorded on paper.

Giving and updating your consent to data sharing is voluntary. If you do not update the consent to data sharing, the consent you gave previously will remain valid. You can handle matters regarding your consent to data sharing in MyKanta.

Information about the Kanta Services is a notification of how client and patient data are used in health care services. You can read and confirm the latest information in MyKanta from 30 November 2023 or at the appointment from 1 January 2024.
