Accessibility Statement

This accessibility statement applies to fshs.fi. This statement was last updated on 30 Oct 2025. The service is subject to the act on the provision of digital services, which requires that public online services are accessible.

The accessibility of the service was assessed by an external expert organization outside FSHS in January 2020. The audit covered all pages of the site and most of the deficiencies identified were corrected.

The website currently partially meets the WCAG 2.1 A and AA level accessibility requirements.

Inaccessible content

• The site may contain some third-party content that is not accessible.

• The law does not apply to video or audio recordings released before 9/23/2020.

Alternative texts

  • Some images may be missing an alternative text (WCAG 1.1.1).

Videos

  • Some of the older videos do not meet accessibility requirements. Adding captions to all old video recordings would place an unreasonable burden on the organization (WCAG 1.2.2). Video accessibility is taken into account when updating content for all new videos (captions and text alternatives).

Attachments

  • Some attachments may not meet accessibility requirements. Making all old attachments accessible would place an unreasonable burden on the organization (WCAG 1.2.2). All new attachments are created to be accessible when updating content.

Heading levels

  • There may be occasional shortcomings in the use of heading levels (WCAG 1.3.1). These issues have been addressed where possible if they were identified during other maintenance activities.
