Influenza vaccinations available for students in selected fields and risk groups

Influenza vaccinations for 2026–2027 will begin at various FSHS service units in October or November. Social and healthcare students in higher education, as well as students belonging to a risk group can receive their influenza vaccinations from the FSHS free of charge.

In many areas, students need to book an individual vaccination appointment. In some places, vaccination events are organized without an appointment. You can now check the instructions of your own area:

Vaccination appointments can be booked from week 42 onwards

If the vaccination takes place at your place of study by appointment, the appointment is booked in the YTHSDigi service as follows:

  • If you are a social and health care student, you will receive a booking permission in YTHSDigi during week 42.
  • If you belong to a risk group, use the YTHSDigi chat function from week 42 onwards to receive a vaccination appointment.
  • If you are going to receive a vaccination at a partner unit, use the YTHSDigi chat function from week 42 onwards to receive a vaccination appointment. Further instructions will be provided by the partner unit.
  • If you’re not a social and health care student or don’t belong to a risk group but would like to receive the influenza vaccine, use the YTHSDigi chat function from week 42 onwards to receive a vaccination appointment. Then you can ask for a prescription from the FSHS and purchase the vaccine at your own expense.
