Changes in the patient ombudsman activities
The patient ombudsman’s activities will end in the current form on 1 January 2024. In the future all
activities will organized by the wellbeing services counties.
You can use FSHS services once you have registered
Please note that the information regarding your enrollment will be transferred to FSHS from higher education institutions with a delay of approximately 1-3 days.
Tuberculosis screenings available for students in risk groups
Screenings are recommended for students who have lived in a tb-heavy area or otherwise been exposed to the disease.
Check the opening times for Christmas and New Year
FSHS serves students on weekdays during the Christmas holidays. You can check the possible exceptions in opening hours in this article.
Our service units are closed on Independence Day 6 December

The healthcare fee for students in higher education will remain unchanged in 2024 – The fee for unattended appointments will be increased
The amount of the healthcare fee for higher education students is specified in a Government decree, which is issued annually.
New FSHS service unit changes this year
FSHS service units in seven towns will be relocated during the remainder of this year. Local services will then be provided at the FSHS’s own service unit in another town. In addition to local appointments, university students will be able to use the FSHS’s digital service channels as before.
