GENERAL INFORMATION
The Student Health Centre of Tampere is open all year round except weekends.
FSHS has two health centres in Tampere. One in Kalevantie 3 near University of Tampere and one in Hervanta in Sähkötalo in Tampere University of Tecnology area at Korkeakoulunkatu 3.
After paying the health care fee (35 e/year) as a part of the student union fee the FSHS´s services are available for a student. The student card should be presented when FSHS´s services are used.
In addition to health care fee, patients are charged small fees for consultations and treatment.
In case of emergency during weekends and in the evenings please phone - 10023 (with mobile phone 03-3147 0023)- TAUH Central Hospital .

CANCELLING APPOINTMENTS
If you have made on appointment and if you cannot make it, please call and cancel your appointment. At the same time you can make a new appointment. Try to cancel your appointment at least one day in advance, otherwise you have to pay the fee.

Please inform us if you cannot make it to your
appointment at the agreed time. The earlier you let us know, the more likely it
is that someone else can use the service in your place and our queues are that
much shorter. If you need to cancel, please do so no later than the
weekday before the appointment (Mon-Fri) by 12 noon. If you cancel
later than the previous weekday, you will be charged the appointment fee. If you
do not cancel and also do not come for the appointment, you will be charged the
appointment fee and an additional charge of €15. The fee €15 is charged also
when the appointment is free of charge.
The appointment fee +
the fee of €15 should be paid at the FSHS unit. If the fees are not
paid at the unit, a reminder will be sent. A fee of €5 will
be charged for the reminder.
You can use the FSHS servies only if you have paid the Student Union Fee. Please bring you student card with you. Pay the appointment fee when signing in before the appointment.
Certificates
The FSHS doctors usually give certificates
related to studies or sickness only. Due to the scarcity of resources, it is
under exceptional conditions only that they are able to provide any other
certificates.
