How to get the treatment you need?
Before the onset of treatment, the need of treatment is assessed. You call our guidance service to make an appointment. During the phone call, an FSHS staff member will provide guidance and assess your need of treatment and its urgency, and direct you to a place of care based on your needs. Emergency care is available 24 hour a day at the A&E clinic of your local health care centre or other municipal emergency care unit.
In acute cases we aim to receive you on the same day or no later than the following day depending on your illness or condition or advise you to go straight to your local municipal health care centres´s accident and emergency unit. The FSHS does not have its own accident and emergency service unit. Instead, our health centres serve you during the day on business days. We do not provide any evening, night or weekend services.
