Tuomo Yli-Huttula elected as Chairman of the Board of the FSHS

The Council of the Finnish Student Health Service Foundation (FSHS) met on 7 December 2017 for a regulatory autumn meeting. At the meeting, Tuomo Yli-Huttula, Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs at Finance Finland (FFI), was elected as the new Chair of the Board of Trustees of the FSHS.
"FSHS is at the dawn of a new beginning. The operating environment is changing in many respects. It is a valuable fact that political decision-makers are committed to the provisioning of health services for university students, and going forward also for students of the universities of applied sciences, through the FSHS. I believe that being a strong expert organization and by providing high quality services, FSHS will be able to continue to fulfill its mission in the future," Yli-Huttula emphasises.
Liisa Lähteenaho, Chief People Officer at Umbra, was elected Vice Chair of the Board.
Also the council received a new Chair. Kari-Pekka Mäki-Lohiluoma from the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela) was elected to the position. Eero Manninen, Secretary General of the National Union of University Students in Finland (SYL), was elected Vice Chair.
The council's autumn meeting also confirmed the budget of the FSHS and adopted an action plan for year 2018.
The next Council meeting will be held in April 2018.
