Oral health services at FSHS Seinäjoki unit from 2 April 2012 onwards
If your symptoms are acute (your filling has broken, mild symptoms), call Oral on 0400 663 619, Mon-Fri 9.00-11.00, in accordance with the instructions provided earlier.
Depending on the urgency of your case, you will receive an appointment within 1-21 days. If your case is very urgent, such as toothache, swelling or other symptom that requires immediate treatment, you will be referred to an emergency service.
If your case is not urgent, you should call the Tampere appointment reservations number on 046 710 1058 for an oral or dental check or other non-urgent appointment.
FSHS staff will carry out a treatment need assessment and you will be placed in a queue in accordance with the FSHS practice. You will be contacted within the period of time specified under the statutory care guarantee, and your treatment will take place in Seinäjoki.
Please note that the Seinäjoki unit is closed from 2 to 31 July 2012.

The services are available for you if you study in bachelor or master level degree programme in Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences.
The annual FSHS fee 21 euros is paid through Seinäjoki UAS (www.SeAMK.fi) by 15 February at the latest.
After you have paid the FSHS fee, you are entitled to use health services from January 2012 to August 2012.
After you have made the payment, REMEMBER TO PRINT OUT THE RECEIPT. When you come for an appointment for the first time, take the receipt for FSHS payment with you.
FSHS doesn't have a walk-in reception. All appointments and contacts are made by telephone.

Laboratory examinations are only available if you have a referral by an FSHS doctor or public health nurse. To make an appointment and to get contact details call a public health nurse 046 710 1023. Instructions regarding how and from whom you will receive the results of your laboratory tests are provided by the FSHS staff member who gave you the referral for the tests.
