Branch health centres
The FSHS also provides basic health care services to students studying at branch units of the universities and other higher education institutions within its scope of activity. Only those studying in these specific programmes have right to use the services of our branch health centres.
In some cases we may need to send students who belong to this special group for treatment at an FSHS health centre in another location. In these cases the student has the right to receive compensation for travel expenses up to the price of the cheapest student fare. Instructions on how to submit a travel expenses claim are available from the contact persons. Please note that we will not pay compensation for travel expenses if you have used the services of another health centre without us specifically advising you to do so.

The outsourced services provided by the FSHS Helsinki-Espoo unit are only intended for those studying at the Lahti unit for environmental education and research of the Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences and Urban Studies Master´s Programme of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Helsinki, in Master´s Programme in Environmental Technology or other Master´s programmes at the Lahti Centre of Aalto University School of Science and Technology or in the Lappeenranta University og Technology TUDI Programme.
