Online advice

FSHS’s online advice service provides answers to previously asked questions grouped according to topic. You can also ask experts (general practitioners, public health nurses, dental hygienists) questions on the following topics:

• birth control and sexual health
• asthma and allergy
• mental health
• oral health.

Your question will be answered within a week and you will find the answer against your question number. Questions, with answers, will be published on the online advice website to help others visiting the site. We do not answer questions via e-mail nor do we answer questions on topics other than those listed above.

The online advice service is not intended for urgent matters, specific diagnoses, actual treatment or assessment of the quality of treatment that is already being given. The service cannot be used for making appointments, writing certificates, writing or renewing prescriptions, enquiries about laboratory test results or referrals for examinations.
