Urgent treatment

Before the onset of treatment, the need of treatment is assessed. You call our guidance service to make an appointment. During the phone call, an FSHS staff member will provide guidance and assess your need of treatment and its urgency, and direct you to a place of care based on your needs.
Several university towns have an FSHS General Health Urgent Care Clinic that operates during the day on weekdays.
Emergency care is available 24 hour a day at the A&E clinic of your local health care centre or other municipal emergency care unit. Assessment of the need of non-voluntary treatment in accordance with the Mental Health Act is performed in municipal health care.
